Join me and March to Save Sydney’s Koalas this Friday, November 26

JOIN US IN STANDING UP FOR KOALAS THIS FRIDAY! 📢🐨🌿
I will be speaking at the March to Save Sydney’s Koalas this Friday, November 26 at NSW Parliament.
This week is the last sitting week of NSW Parliament for 2021, and the perfect opportunity to make some noise for koalas: every NSW MP will be here to hear us.
We all know the biggest threat to koalas is habitat destruction. Multinational construction company Lendlease is about to bulldoze even more precious koala habitat in Sydney’s south-west, home to our city’s last koala colony.
We’re rallying together to pressure Rob Stokes and Matt Kean to approve Appin Rd Koala underpasses and ensure continuous, WIDE koala corridors as part of Lendlease’s development.
Come and join us for this last-chance march to pressure the government to step in (and up!) to protect koalas.
Meet at 12:30pm at Martin Place (Pitt Street corner)
